The energy transition is one of the greatest challenges of our time, and green hydrogen plays a key role in this transformation. At HTL Dornbirn, an innovative training and demonstration facility has been opened, providing students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Here, future professionals can actively engage with the technologies of tomorrow.
H2 Core Systems GmbH is proud to be part of this groundbreaking project. In collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce Vorarlberg, industry, and the state of Vorarlberg, a platform has been created to prepare students for the energy transition and foster the development of sustainable technologies.
HTL Dornbirn – A Pioneer School in Austria:
HTL Dornbirn is the first school in Austria to offer students the opportunity to work with a real hydrogen plant. The research focuses on hydrogen use in industrial processes, mobility, and autonomous energy systems. A key area of research is hydrogen storage, which is crucial for practical use in both industry and everyday life.
Why is this project important for the state of Vorarlberg?
It highlights the region’s leadership in innovation and the close collaboration between business, science, and education. Through this partnership, research becomes tangible and applicable. Young people are introduced to sustainable technologies and work on solutions for future challenges.
Our Vision at H2 Core Systems GmbH:
With our Indoor HydroCab®, we contribute to training the next generation and promoting sustainable development.
What Makes This Project Special?
The facility is not only available to HTL Dornbirn students but also to other interested schools, educational institutions, and companies in Vorarlberg. This enables a broad exchange of knowledge and experience, allowing for collaborative exploration and solution development for forward-looking questions. It creates a connection between theory and practice, enabling learners to actively participate in the energy transition.
We are proud to be part of a project that not only brings tomorrow’s technology to the forefront but also prepares tomorrow’s workforce to lead the way.
